At Knights of Columbus Council 1208, we believe faith and service go hand in hand. As Catholic men, we’re called to live our faith through action — supporting our parish, strengthening families, and making a difference in our community.

Throughout the year, our council leads a variety of events that bring people together in fellowship and purpose. From the Tootsie Roll Drive in February, which supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, to our Lenten Fish Fry each Friday of Lent that unites our parish in faith and good food, we put our values into action.

In March, we host the Al Oubre Memorial Golf Tournament, a fun day that raises funds for local charities and parish projects. We also serve our community through parking lot collections during the Sugar Cane Festival in September and the Gumbo Cook-Off in October — events that blend service, visibility, and community spirit. We close the year with our Jambalaya Dinner in December, a celebration of faith, family, and friendship.

As Knights, we share a bond of brotherhood rooted in the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Together, we grow in faith, support one another, and make a real impact in the lives of others. Through our support and leadership the local Unexpected Pregnancy Center has thrived in help mothers keep and care for their the new blessings in their lives.
